Dark Project presents - Long way from home

Long way from home is the 3rd single from our next album. The song was conceived in the year 2009 when the band had come down to Bangalore to play at Opus. This is Korak's first song composition for Dark Project that was equally complimented by Ugyal and Sauvik on the guitar. It was only last year that the vocals were written for this track with the intent of dedicating it to a soldiers life. It's hard to capture a life in just 8 lines of lyrics and 3:50 minutes of playtime, but we have tried, only to hope that you would like it and possibly we would reach the ears of those whom we really intended this for! The track was released on our Facebook Fan Page on 17th December.

Dark Project Live at Hard Rock Cafe, Hyderabad

We return to Hard Rock Cafe, Hyderabad for the 2nd time this year. This time we will have more of Dark Project's material. We will debut two of our much liked singles - Duality and Salvation on the 22nd of November. Do drop over with you friends and have a good time with us!

Interview at Radio One and the release of "Salvation"

Get ready for Salvation releasing on 30th September!

Salvation has different meanings for everyone. But for us, Salvation is our next Single out of our forthcoming album. This is another demo track in a series of 4 Demo Singles that we have plans to release out of the album.

Salvation was conceived around 5 months back on a 5 string acoustic guitar by Sudipto (the 6th one became a victim of lethargy) and later everyone from the band turned the song upside down into something unique and beautiful. Sauvik came up with a Prime number pattern on the distortion strikes (Go figure) and Korak used double bass in a very unconventional way for the first time in the album. Ugyal spread his magic over the riffs and the leads. The song went into post production around 2 weeks back and we must say, Sauvik has done a great job with it.

Can't really wait for you guys to give a listen to it. This is the first Dark Project song releasing on the Radio - Radio One, 30th September at 9 PM in Bangalore. We put up a small promo for you guys before it releases in another 5 days. Till then Keep 'em coming!

Dark Project presents Duality

Duality is a Single out of our forthcoming album, due later this year. We released this track online on Soundcloud on 13th September and on Reverbnation on 14th September, now on free streaming on our website as well. The song was well received by most of you and we have got several good words back. It means a lot to us. Duality is also a song where we step ourselves up into another level with our sound. This song was tracked, mixed and engineered by Sauvik at his Studio: Involute Functions. The song is trending on the social sites all because you liked it.
